An alumnus of St, Xavier’s, Kolkata & an MBA from IISWBM, Kolkata, Subho has been a keen student of marketing, communication and advertising for more than 25 years now. In this fantastic journey, he has built awesome teams, met some great people, launched design companies, headed agency offices and created endearing brands and human stories. Some of the institutions that helped him grow along the way are JWT, Honk Design, Contract, Design Sutra, TBWA, Saatchi & Saatchi in Delhi, Bates and Genesis in Kolkata.

Some of the brands Subho has worked on and helped in improving the growth trajectory are Horlicks, Boost, Britannia, Dominos, McCain Foods, Wai Wai, Veeba Foods, Apollo Tyres, Michelin, Eicher Motors, Shell Lubricants, Airtel, MTS, Tata Docomo, Sony, Haeir, Hitachi, iTel, Birla Cement, Lafarge, Rungta TMT Bars, Jenson & Nicholson Paints, Berger Paints, Emaar, Peerless, Sofy, Santoor, Valon, Gulabari, Dabur Glucose, Zandu, Nutraj, Close Up, Fair & Lovely, Sunsilk, Good Knight, Adidas, Bata, Sree Leathers, Times of India, Star Ananda, ABP News, India Times, Max Bupa, Tata AIA, AVIVA, OYO, Wills Lifestyle, Rupa, Radico Khaitan, Carlsberg, India Kings, Gold Flake, Capstan and Surya Tobacco. Subho has developed several behavioural change initiatives for UNICEF, NACO, PSI, FHI, Bates Foundation on AIDS Awareness, Sanitation, Pre and Post Natal Health and Immunisation, Child Nutrition and Vaccination, Condom Usage Habit and Polio eradication.

He also got his share of recognition for his contribution. He has been awarded 8 Effies, a dozen and more Abbies, got nominated as Young Achiever for the WPP Global Program and for Advanced Management Programme at the OMNICOM University.

Before joining Contract, Subho was an entrepreneur for some time and just before that Subho’s last assignment was Chief Marketing Officer at Veeba Food Services. Brand and Marketing Consultancy, Go-to-Market Strategy, Strategic Planning, 360 degree Communication Planning, Digital & Social Media Marketing, Influencer Marketing, Brand Identity, Logo & Retail Space Design, Exhibitions and Events, Audio Visual Production, Still Photography, Content Creation are some of his areas of competence.

Subho believes in giving back to the society in whichever way possible and loves to mentor and train young advertising and marketing professionals. He has had the opportunity of being a visiting faculty at Vinod Gupta School of Management Studies at IIT, Kharagpur. And when he’s not working, he loves to cook, talk to people especially the Gen Zs, nurture plants, pamper his pet and read on subjects such as History, Spirituality and Geo Politics.
